Trust & proof

Trust Should Be Verifiable.

FarmChain should not ask people to trust us blindly. This page sets out how money is handled, what insurance can and cannot do, which documents govern membership, and what has actually happened so far. Where something is not yet in place, we say so.

Custody

Where member money goes — and where it never goes.

Designated custodial arrangements

Member contributions are handled through designated custodial and banking arrangements held in the name of the cooperative, kept separate from day-to-day operating funds. Members are given the account details directly after their application is reviewed, never through an ad-hoc channel.

Contribution records are reconciled against those accounts, so a member's contribution history reflects money actually received.

This website does not collect payments

The FarmChain marketing website has no payment gateway. There is no "Pay Now", no card payment, no wallet and no crypto payment anywhere on this site. Planning tools on this site are illustrative only and move no money.

  • • Never send funds to a personal account.
  • • Never send funds based on a social media message or screenshot.

Insurance

Insurance reduces some risks. It does not remove them.

We will not describe any asset as fully protected. Where cover exists, we describe what it covers, on what terms, and under which programme.

What can be insured

Where a programme includes cover, it typically applies to designated biological assets and facility risks — for example named perils affecting livestock in a Common Facility Centre. Cover is arranged at programme level, not offered by FarmChain itself.

Coverage terms decide everything

Any cover is defined by the policy: insured events, exclusions, waiting periods, valuation basis, deductibles, claim evidence and claim timelines. A loss outside those terms is not covered, and settlement amounts may be less than the value a member expected.

Programme-specific conditions

Cover varies by asset class and programme, and may be unavailable for some programmes or periods. Economic tree programmes and livestock programmes are treated differently. Members receive the applicable terms for their programme before they commit.

Insurance arrangements for FarmChain programmes are not yet in force. No policy, insurer approval or level of cover is claimed on this page. Confirmed cover, and the terms that apply to it, will be published in the Proof Centre and issued to members in writing.

Proof centre

What has actually happened.

Updates are published here only when there is something real to report — a pilot milestone, an animal intake, a planting, a facility, a confirmed insurance arrangement, an operational report or a webinar.

No updates yet

Proof updates will appear here as FarmChain's pilot develops.

Risk disclosure

Read this part carefully.

FarmChain is not an investment scheme and does not promise returns. Agriculture carries real risk, and a member can receive less than they contributed.

Biological risk

Animals can fall sick or die and trees can fail, despite veterinary care and professional management. Mortality and disease are ordinary features of agriculture, not exceptions.

Market risk

Prices for livestock, palm produce and other outputs move with the market. The price at exit may be lower than the price assumed when a programme was planned.

Operational risk

Feed costs, transport, staffing, security, weather and facility performance all affect outcomes. Operational problems can delay a programme or reduce its result.

Liquidity and timing risk

Biological assets are not instantly convertible to cash. Exit depends on maturity, buyers and market conditions, so timelines can extend beyond an initial plan.

Financing risk

Matching finance may be available from time to time. Amount, eligibility, terms and availability depend on the applicable financing programme. It is not guaranteed, and a contribution history is not an entitlement.

Insurance limitation risk

Where cover exists, it applies only to insured events on the policy terms. Some losses will not be covered, and settlement may be lower than expected value.

No outcome shown anywhere on this website is promised, projected as certain, or guaranteed. Illustrative figures are assumptions used for planning, not forecasts. Members should contribute only what they can sustain over the duration of their plan.

Take the next step

Understand the model before you commit.

Read how contributions become ownership records, join a live webinar and ask questions, then apply to the founding waitlist when you are ready.

FarmChain does not collect contributions through this website.
